The Public Policy and Management Institute (PPMI) is one of the leading public policy research centres in the Baltic region. Since 2001, the Institute’s research and advice has contributed to improvement of public policies in Lithuania and the EU. The work carried out at PPMI has provided rationale for public sector reforms in higher education, R&D, public administration, economy, vocational education and training, and labour mobility.
Over the years the Institute has increasingly focussed on international projects. At the moment, around 70% of our revenue come from the services we provide for EU institutions (such as European Commission and the European Parliament), EU decentralised agencies (such as Cedefop and Eurofound) and other EU bodies (such as Committee of the Regions). In conducting comparative policy research and evaluation we work with a wide network of partners across Europe.
